To initiate this maneuver, the initiator must make a touch attack against the target. If she is wielding a Dire Winter discipline weapon she may use its reach for the touch attack. If the touch attack is successful, the target is dealt 2d6 cold damages per initiator level. If brought to 0 hit points or lower by this attack, the target is reduced to ash as per [[SRD:Disintegrate|''disintegrate'']]. The cold damage dealt by this maneuver ignore cold resistance and cold immunity from extraordinary and supernatural sources, but not those granted from spells.
