If you unwillingly become totally submerged in liquid, you become [[SRD:Panicked|panicked]] (attempting to return to solid ground); even when back on solid ground, you are so shocked that you are [[SRD:Shaken|shaken]] for an hour.

Additionally you take a -4 penalty on [[SRD:Swim Skill|Swim]] checks and can never take 10 on them.
