''You grip the dark silk in your hand, focusing your arcane might on it. Then as you complete this spell, the black silk extends into a large curved blade made of 'darklight'.''

You create a blacksun midnight blade, a weapon extending from your wrist made of a strange black light. The weapon has a +1 enhancement bonus per four caster levels (maximum +10) on attack and damage rolls (much like [[SRD:Greater Magic Weapon|''greater magic weapon'']]). The blade deals 1d8 damage and has a critical threat of 18-20. You may use your caster level instead of your base attack bonus when attacking with a Blacksun Midnight Blade and use [[intelligence]], [[wisdom]], or [[charisma]] instead of [[strength]] for the purpose of attack and damage. The blade deals pure magical damage. 

The weapon counts as having the [[SRD:Bane (Weapon Enhancement)|bane]] property against all creatures weak to sunlight, such as [[SRD:Bodak|bodaks]], [[SRD:Wraith|wraiths]], and [[SRD:Vampire|vampires]]. Note that this bonus applies only to creatures outright destroyed or damaged by sunlight or rendered helpless; creatures dazzled by sunlight, such as [[SRD:Drow|drow]], are affected by the spell normally.

As a full-round action, you can focus the blade into a mighty beam. You make a ranged touch attack within long range, dealing 1d10 pure magical damage/caster level. The blade is destroyed by this action, ending the spell.

A Viewtiful Monarch who casts this spell forms a quarterstaff, staff, spear, or lance (more specifically, her chosen weapon) when using this spell, rather than some sort of blade, but it otherwise works as described above.
