This spell works as ''[[Nonlethal Field (3.5e Spell)|Nonlethal Field]]'', except that no save is allowed, and spell resistance does not apply.  

Also, creatures immune to nonlethal damage lose their immunity to nonlethal damage while in this sphere.  Whenever a creature normally immune to nonlethal damage would be unconscious from nonlethal damage, it instead becomes paralyzed or otherwise disfunctional (DM's decision).
