A hungry ghost weapon is possessed by the spirit of a ravenous undead.  It absorbs up to 2 points of damage per hit as healing for its user.  However its full strength can only be used by someone who has attuned themselves to the blade over 24 hours.  When attuned, creatures you kill with the blade with a CR equal or less than your own level may have their souls absorbed by the weapon.  This behaves like thinaun<sup>CW</sup>, leaving the soul in the weapon instead of an afterlife to be traded, removed, or used in any processes that require souls.  The soul remains until released (a free action) or you absorb a new soul, automatically freeing the previous soul.

The weapon radiates faint evil when enhanced by this, but has no effect on dealing evil aligned damage or requiring an a user of a certain alignment.  Like thinaun, if the user dies and the weapon is not already full, the users soul goes into the weapon instead.
