Create two portals in places within range you have line of sight and line of effect to. The portals must be aligned with each other, and parallel. Creatures that would be cut by the portals or fall into them may choose to be shunted to the side of their choice instead.

The sides of the portals that face away from each other are linked, and the sides of the portals that face towards each other are linked. Thus, light, spells, creatures, or objects passing through one of the external sides comes out of the other external sides, and the same for the internal sides.
