|reason=I really like this version--more than just actual NPCs that follow you around, it gives tangible benefits, without the gamebreaking aspect cohorts can bring to the table. The only thing I dislike is that Merchant and Wiseman are considerably more powerful than the other choices, Merchant potentially breaking CBWL and Wiseman potentially ending plots or mystery games at games lower than the Wizard balance level where players rely on footwork and talking to people rather than spells. I really like this version--more than just actual NPCs that follow you around, it gives tangible benefits, without the gamebreaking aspect cohorts can bring to the table.
