I also reduced the self-damage and increased the damage to 1d12+size modifier per HD (instead of per 2 HD as it was before). For being the end of a three-feat chain, this is shit. "Hey, let's get rid of the maneuver that knocks your enemy prone (actually useful) and instead make it a weird spring attack that DAMAGES YOURSELF and doesn't even leave the target prone."
There is literally no reason anyone would take this. I'd change the damage dealt to be based on BAB instead of HD, and make the damage dealt to yourself to be limited to 1-2 points per BAB, and make it non-lethal. Oh, and have it STILL KNOCK THE TARGET PRONE. |
