|reason=6000 gp is ''far'' too low for a heavy (now medium) armor with no max dex that also deflects several projectiles per round. Probably any price would be too low other than some significant enhancement bonus price.

|reason=As written is there any reason to make armor out of a material other than Beskar? No. It's an over-complicated mary sue mess of a special material. If it were closer to being a usable article I'd upgrade to dislike. To like it I would just remove almost every stinkin special mechanical aspect (the weapon parries, the max dex removal, the armor check removal, the weird deflections, the armor type reduction, etc.) and have the armor/shield property be effective against incorporeal attacks and Brilliant Energy weapons.

Perhaps more than it is

Beskar is interesting, but beyond its lightsaber resistant abilities all it is really is Space Adamantine. Mando survives blaster bolts but it still seems to bother him, indicating DR. And of course he eats dirt against bombs. There also doesn't seem to be indication that it's any lighter than normal. I see how you tried to put the lightsaber resistance in the form of weapons resisting brilliant energy weapons, but I might suggest a cleaner way. There are many things that could be "lightsabers" in fluff and brilliant energy is just one of them. And it's a tad strange for one's weapon to be providing defense. This works in Star Wars because they parry and everything but its a might strange. May I suggest:

Against melee touch attacks, the weapon provides its enhancement bonus as a deflection bonus (up to your total normal AC).

This A) Provides said defense, B) gives it a type to prevent stacking shenanigan, C) further caps it at your AC just to be sure, and D) Covers all sorts of magical touch attacks like Flame Blade. Sure, it works against things like Vampiric Touch too, but who is to say that doesn't come in the form of a negative energy dagger shape. You are considered armed wielding a touch spell, suggesting there's something in or about your hand worthy to threaten and deflect.

As far as armor, like I said, it's Space Adamantine. Would just suggest DR with the addition of applying to touch AC to a degree. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 09:12, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
