Release Date

Any word on when this will be officially finished? Currently it's in a pre-release format that you can playtest, but it hasn't been officially deemed as complete. --Ghostwheel (talk) 06:41, 26 July 2018 (MDT)

It was just published on 2018-07-23. It is a release by WotC. But, you are right, it is not for organized play (Adventure League). It will continue to evolve with player feedback, so I suspect it will not be released in paper form, valid for organized play, until next year or later. According to the "Dragon Talk - An Official Dungeons & Dragons Podcast" episode "Keith Baker, Jeremy Crawford & James Wyatt on Ravnica & Eberron" (2018-07-25), anyone who purchases it will be notified by email when changes are made and will be able to download an updated version for free. --Rlyehable (talk) 21:01, 26 July 2018 (MDT)
i just hope they fix warforged soon... adding proficiency to AC is whack, if they want to keep that, they should halve the proficiency bonus to AC IMO, even if rounded up. --Ghostwheel (talk) 22:01, 26 July 2018 (MDT)
Hmm. Armor max (20 Dex/Level 17+) 22/21/22 so better than +2 plate/better than +1 plate/equivalent to +2 plate. Maybe half proficiency (as you said) or just give base AC but allow them to wear armor if it provides a better AC (or magic features). {shrug} --Rlyehable (talk) 22:41, 26 July 2018 (MDT)
