1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

Yes, a war spoon is an oversized spoon used for war. While the eating utensil it gains its shape from is common among lords and serfs alike, this spoon has been scaled up and tempered for combat.

To give the implement proper weight and heft, it is made from an alloy of mithral and steel, granting it the strength of steel with the shine of mithral. The solid haft is often wrapped with sting-ray leather, a leather prized for its ability retain a grip when wet.

The war spoon is also known as a giant spoon and war scoop.

A war spoon doubles as a shovel.

Special: A masterwork war spoon can be loaded with a splash weapon (such as alchemist's fire) as a swift action that provokes attacks of opportunity. The loaded splash weapon can then be thrown from the spoon, increasing its range increment by 10 feet and using the spoon's enhancement value to attack rolls.
