Hunting JacketEdit

This article is balanced with Adjusted SRD Armors in mind.

A high-grade light armor, this well-made jacket is made of sturdy fabric or leather, which is further reinforced and optimized. Typically worn by nobility and royalty in hunting trips, the hunting jacket is an effective light armor, which can be easily be donned and removed. In design it is not unlike a gambeson, which is designed to cover the torso and drape over the hip area. The shoulders are reinforced and the armor include a sturdy steel-reinforced collar. A masterwork hunting jacket is usually heavily decorated and lean, and might be mistaken for a high-quality frock coat, dolman or other similar civilian jacket. The hunting jacket was adopted by hunters of the dead, especially in urban settings where a full set of armor might not be socially accepted.

  1. If the character has some help, cut this time in half. A single character doing nothing else can help one or two adjacent characters. Two characters can't help each other don armor at the same time.

A hunting jacket is made of leather or fabric and thus can be made of a special material that applies to that kind of armor. A masterwork hunting jacket may be made to resemble a high-quality coat, an observer must make a DC 20 Spot check to recognize it as armor, or DC 10 if closely inspected.

Craft (Tailoring) DC 15.
