As long as you are in this stance, you gain the benefit of the endure elements (cold only). You also gain resistance to cold equal to twice the highest level dire winter maneuver you can initiate. When you become able to initiate 8th level dire winter maneuvers you become immune to cold damage.
If you have the [Cold] subtype, while in this stance you instead loses your vulnerability to fire.
