A rather simple, but powerful and fail proof, death curse. Often used by necromancers without access to stronger death-magic.
The caster fires a black and green ray from her fingertip. On a successful ranged touch attack, the struck creature takes 1d8 points of negative energy damage per two caster levels (maximum of 5d8). The negative energy damage dealt by this spell does not heal creatures healed by negative energy, but does not harm them. The caster may concentrate on this spell, dealing the spell damage again to the initial target of the ray without needing any further ranged touch attack. If the target exit the spell's range, gain total cover relative to the caster or the caster fails to concentrate, the spell immediately ends.
A creature reduced to –1 hit points or lower by this spell cannot stabilize on their own.
