Alright first thing's first: This is primarily intended to be an expansion to my currently unfinished campaign setting the Empire of the Rising Sun. All of the quests will be from their perspective, and the different cultures are introduced in the order that an explorer from the Empire would meet them (starting with the harshest conditions and working their way into better, more survivable ones). Also, this campaign setting uses the Tome rules just like the campaign its expanding upon.

Also, in order to play this setting you're going to need the supplemental book Sandstorm. Despite having some really sucky prestige classes and some questionable races, Sandstorm took rules for a desert campaign to the next level, and I will constantly be referring to pages in Sandstorm. For the purposes of space, I'm going to abbreviate Sandstorm as an S whenever I refer to it, and it will be followed by a page number. Not really that hard. I suppose you could play this setting without the DM possessing Sandstorm, but it would take much of the difficulty and accomplishment out of the entire thing.
