Right now, this is a dumping ground for all my ideas regarding a campaign set in the legends of medieval India. Why? Well...

India has a rich mythological tradition which D&D already draws from (although a lot of the interpretations are...wrong *cough* naga *cough*). There's also been a severe lack of Indian goodness, even in Oriental Adventures. There were like, 10 India-flavored things in that entire book at best, including a web supplement which is just a rewriting of the Rokugan campaign setting with Indian flavor. Nice try, but it sucked for the same reasons the Rokugan D20 setting sucked (namely, making each nation specialize in one base class. That's just silly). There was even an old published campaign setting based on 1001 Nights and Arabian mythology, but nothing ever seems to get published based in good ol' India.

This is an attempt to change that.
