User talk:Parakee
Hey there new guy. Nice to see you're keeping up with that contribution promise you made. :-) You should probably keep an eye on your pages though (or even add them to your watch list so it's really obvious when stuff happens on them), as there's a bit of discussion on your feat that could use your comments. - Tarkisflux 18:08, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, I did, I wasn't on the computer for a couple hours. Didn't expect that much feedback so soon.Parakee 20:11, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

The Pyrotechnic You Wrote
You requested corrections. These have been done, but a few issues have been raised. I decided not to correct them, as this would go far beyond 'cleanup' in any meaningful sense. When you get back to me about these (either on your article's talk page or my own), I'd be happy to finish the work.

- You may wanna check the talk page for this class again. - MisterSinister 06:32, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
Spelling and stuff.
May I have Carte Blanche to fix all the spelling things I see in your articles? -- Aelaris 23:25, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes please. I can't spell. --Parakee 02:35, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
Delay?
It might be a good idea if you had some sort of delay or remote detonate ability so you could make land-mines and timed explosives. that way your friends are less likely die every time you make something explode.--71.53.206.173 01:51, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Return
Im back from my long break from dnd wiki!
Was that IP edit you?
If so, it might be a good idea to check with me before you go attempting random SQL injection on my website. Surgo 23:48, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- I expect you to have a very good explanation as to why you are attempting this without notifying (and getting the approval of) any of my staff. Surgo 23:54, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- Ya. I did this. I really shouldn't have. I should be banned. I really do. I wasn't malicious activity but you can't know that for sure. Any good webmaster would ban me. I DO have a reasonable expiration, which I would would ignore in your position.
- I was searching. I wanted to see if I could search for * and get ALL website results. It didn't work. I was curious to see what happened if I typed in ' or 'a'='a. I noticed this did work. I thought this was weird. Most people with half a brain protect against this type of thing (Apparently you do have half a brain). So I tried logging in to my account with the Password ' or 'a'='a and was ready to notify someone if this didn't work. It didn't. I should have stopped there. I don't know what I was thinking. I wanted to see what would happen if I created a page title ' or 'a'='a. Nothing happened. I then tried to delete it. I didn't know how so tried moving it to User:Parakee/testing. Then you caught me.
- Look. I can't judge if you bad me. If I appear to be a security threat: BAN ME. If not, well I do. What I said above is true, though.
- I believe your story -- it matches the server logs. It goes without saying, but I'm watching the logs pretty closely right now and in the near future. Surgo 00:15, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not going to ban you, but I am going to keep quite a close eye on you. I believe your story. Surgo 00:19, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- Your not going to ban me? I'm a webmaster too and if someone did this I would ban them no matter what the logs said!
- By the way: How do you delete pages? I have a class http://www.dnd-wiki.org/wiki/User:Parakee/acrobat_(3.5e_Class) that is empty and stuck on my profile.--ParakeeTalk 00:22, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- If you'd really like a ban, it can be arranged. Anywhere from a couple of hours on up to forever. We're obliging like that.
- You need additional rights to delete pages on a wiki. Rights which you're pretty unlikely to get at this point. You can ask for a page to be deleted by putting {{delete|Author Request}} at the top of a page though, and someone will get to it. - Tarkisflux 00:53, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Technical Stuff
We're trying to move away from {{#set:<thing>=<stuff>}}, since it behaves badly in some transclusion cases. It would be helpful if you could do [[<thing>::<stuff>| ]] instead. I could also roll that into the tattoo template you did if you'd prefer it in there than in the article block. - Tarkisflux Talk 18:47, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
- I'll switch. I have no idea how to wiki stuff. Really just learning. Thanks for the tip.
