Silver Edge

A weapon with a silver edge, or silver-covered edge offer the ability to pierce the defense of many creatures such as lycanthrope and devils but with the added bonus of being made of another material. These weapons are often primarily made of adamantine, cold iron or mithral and used to hunt multiple kinds of supernatural creatures. If the weapon is well crafted it may not even lose it 'edge' against regular foes.

Requirements

The creator of a Silver Edge item must have at least 5 ranks in Craft (Silversmithing or Weaponsmithing). It can only be added to weapon primarily made out of metal.

Silver Edge Weapons

Silver Edged weapons look much like their normal counterpart, sometime with an additional silver finish for uniformity.

Cost: 50% cost of a Alchemical Silver weapon of it kind (base weapon price + alchemical silver price).

Affinities: Bane

Special: A weapon with a silver edge count as Alchemical Silver for all intent and purposes, if it is also masterwork it does not suffer from the normal damage penalty for being made of alchemical silver.
