The small and cuddly animal looks like a strange mix of kitten, puppy, and fox kit. It seems to be friendly towards everything around it.
Eevees are small, fluffy creatures with large eyes and affectionate behavior. They have tufty manes and tails, and have long, floppy ears. Eevee grow very slowly, and do not age. Very few Eevee are born, as the gestation period for an Eevee is usually about 15 months, and twins are very rare.
Eevee are highly adaptable; while they grow slowly, they conform to their environment extremely quickly. Eevee can eat absolutely anything, and frequently subsist on dirt, air, or even happy thoughts. When an Eevee is exposed to a particularly inhospitable environment, the Eevee’s body and genetic structure alter to make the environment suitable for it to live in. Eevee incorporate magical radiation into their bodies, and evolve over the course of their lives to utilize whatever powers are on hand.
Eevee are rare, and highly sought after. Eevee give live birth, but also lay eggs and on rare occasions even asexually divide. Rich merchants and aristocrats aspire to having Eevee as pets, for they are both cuddly and rare.
Combat
Eevee avoid combat whenever possible, but are shockingly resilient for their small size and weak-looking bodies.
Adaptive (Ex): An Eevee is capable of supporting itself in any physical environment. It does not have to breathe, eat, or drink, and is immune to any poison. Eevee are never exhausted, do not sleep, and are not severely impacted by high or low temperatures.
Always in Fashion (Ex): An Eevee naturally attunes itself to any plane it is on, or any magical effect it is exposed to. An Eevee constantly benefits from an attune form[2] effect. In addition, an Eevee has spell resistance equal to 10 plus its hit dice.
Mutable Genetics (Ex): If an Eevee is exposed to any especially strong source of magic, it will spontaneously evolve into a new creature type which takes on the characteristics of the magic to which it was exposed. See the Eeveelution template for more details.
Skills: Eevees learn quickly, and gain a +2 racial bonus on any skill in which they have at least 4 ranks.
