Unfriendly behaviour

I really like this trait but I noticed that the "unfriendly disposition" drawback isn't a starting disposition but it always remains. Is it intended?

Also, in which cases does the benefit works, outside of starting the campaign at levels higher than 1? --The bluez in the dungeon (talk) 21:42, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

I'm not sure what the question about Unfriendly NPC Attitude is meaning to ask. But I'll expand here. It is not an Initial Attitude, but once NPCs have observed the character insisting on payment for anything they rub people the wrong way and the NPC Attitude is adjusted 1 step lower from where it would typically be. And that's a permanent -1 step on NPC attitudes from where they would be typically (say, for the rest of the party).
I'd been discussing it with some folks about how to handle the wealth by level adjustment, since as written it scales up as you level effectively giving you 1 extra level appropriate item which is pretty stronk for a trait. I think I may change it to +5000 gp or equivalent treasure. I'd considered making a proper fee structure similar to paying for services from a Lesser Planar Ally, but I really wanted the demand of payment to be more fluff and not something that literally decreases the amount of treasure the rest of the party gets. That's the last thing I'd want.--ErikOfWiki (talk), 30 March 2023
Ok so the negative attitude is permanent, and with no way to mitigate it, got it. --The bluez in the dungeon (talk) 23:18, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
