Once per turn as a free action, just prior to using a sorcerer encounter power, a sorcerer daily power, or a black magician power, you can spend a healing surge, but you regain no hit points. Instead, when the power you use damages a target, you deal an extra 2d10 damage to that target. The type of the extra damage is the same as the type of the damage  dealt by the power.
