Interdasting[edit]

I need to go see the original Harssaf and check it out. One oddity: shouldn't Sand Pulse have the usual 10 + 1/2 HD + (ability) modifier DC? Why is it different? Also you already learn 1 language per skill point. Did you mean you learn both with a single skill point? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 17:07, 23 January 2017 (MST)

For some reason I though it took two skill points per language. Guess I was wrong. Whoops. And I took the ability mod out because I was worried it would be too powerful for no LA otherwise. Plus I'm not sure what it would be. Original is a static 15 Reflex save. Monster Manual 3 page 82 by the way. -- Aeturo (talk) 17:14, 23 January 2017 (MST)
Well, while blindness is powerful it is 1/day, and only for 1 round for the longest time. I think you can get away with it. Most likely the save is either Con or Cha based. Go check the original, it probably follows the 10+1/2+Mod formula. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 17:18, 23 January 2017 (MST)
The original has 6 RHD and their stats are 14 Str, 16 Dex, 16 Con, 11 Int, 11 Wis, and 13 Cha. So 10+1/2 HD is 13. Dex and Con would be too much and Cha would be too little but basing it on Strength seems weird to me. -- Aeturo (talk) 17:24, 23 January 2017 (MST)
That's weird. Huh.
Well, for the purpose of your race I'd probably default to Con. Con is usually a secondary or tertiary stat but not a primary for pretty much every class ever. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 17:29, 23 January 2017 (MST)
I was just about to say I reread the entry and the entry mentions its con based but I guess the math was wrong when they wrote it. -- Aeturo (talk) 17:30, 23 January 2017 (MST)
It's MM3, I wouldn't put it past them to do that. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 17:40, 23 January 2017 (MST)
