Death Knight[edit]

Death comes for the weak and the strong, the fast and the slow. But today, I come for you!

Prerequisite: Bane Guard Class

Bane gave the goblin people the secrets of living beyond death in order to make them brave.

Death Guard Path Features[edit]

Chain of Death (11th Level): Your allies have a +1 bonus to their defenses when they are within your reach.
Surge of Undeath (11th Level): You can spend an action point when you are dead to spend a Healing Surge and return to life.
Doom Lord (16th Level): Any time you inflict damage on an opponent, they suffer a -2 penalty on their attacks until the end of your next turn unless they are immune to Fear.

Gaze of Doom
Death Guard Attack 11
You stare at your target and they are doomed.
Encounter ✦ Shadow, Gaze
Minor Action Ranged 10
Target: One Creature
Attack: Constitution vs. Fortitude, You may add your Charisma modifier to your attack roll (although there is no weapon or implement that applies).
Hit: Target suffers 2d12 Necrotic damage and is Dazed until the end of your next turn.

Lord of Death
Death Knight Utility 12
You can summon an undead monster to assist you.
Daily ✦ Shadow, Summoning
Standard Action Ranged 10
Target: One unoccupied square
Effect: An Undead monster of a level lower than yourself appears and followers your orders. It vanishes at the end of the encounter. You can't summon an Elite or Solo monster in this manner.

Skull Breaker
Death Knight Attack 20
You smash the target's face in.
Daily ✦ Shadow, Weapon
Standard Action Melee weapon
Target: One creature
Effect: 5[W] and the target is Stunned until the end of your next turn.
