1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
The Impaler is a weapon similar to the halberd or glaive. However, it has a point which gives it the capability to pierce more akin to a Awl pickie, though with an even longer and heavy point. The blade on a Impaler is comparably clumsy. Its piercing potential requires a bit of momentum to properly use.
The Impaler presents the following quality:
Strong Pierce. If you move at least 10 feet straight toward a creature and make an attack with this weapon, the attack deals 1d10x3 piercing damage.
As it wotks for every pole weapon, various version of the impaler exists: those without reach, those with 10' reech and even those with 15' reach. All the versions are to be considered different weapon with the same other properties and stats (with the exception of reach, of course) of the same weapon name category (in that case "Impaler").
