Amongst the greatest creations of the Ancients, whose names have been lost to the passage of time, the massive bodies of these colossi are immaculately crafted and splendidly engraved with ancient tales of heroism and battle. Its overpowering presence forces foolhardy adventurers to their knees, and their indiscriminate power reduces them to nothing.
This golem has a burly humanoid body, every part of which has been fastidiously forged from orichalcum in the likeness of great heroes from ancient times. Its features are curved and engraved, and its precisely interlocked parts allow it a wide range of movements, though its speed is very limited.
Gravity Aura (Ex): An orichalcum golem projects a field of heightened gravity around itself, out to a distance of 60 feet. Creature's within the field are effectively burdened, have their movement speed halved and cannot run, although they can attack and defend normally. A creature must succeed on a DC 25 Strength check to move normally within the field for one round, although the burden effect remains unless the creature has a Strength score of at least 30. In addition, within an orichalcum golem's gravity aura, the maneuverability of flying creatures goes down by two stages - to a minimum of clumsy - and any creature in the air must make a DC 38 Fortitude save or be immediately forced to the ground. Any creature so compelled takes falling damage depending on the distance. The save DC is Constitution-based, including a +4 racial bonus. An orichalcum golem is immune to the effects of its own aura.
Creatures with a Strength score less than 20 automatically fail any saves involving this ability, and must instead make a DC 15 Strength check to avoid falling prone where they stand at the start of every turn. Similar checks must be made in order to get up from a prone position.
If the orichalcum golem has a master (or multiple masters), they are excluded from the effect of this aura when they are within 60 feet. A master may order the golem to turn the aura on or off at will, as a free action, or to exclude additional allies from the effect of the aura. Only the main master however may cancel any such exception once in place.
Lightning Bolt (Su): As a free action every 1d4+1 rounds during battle, an orichalcum golem may project a massive discharge of volatile electric energy in a 200-foot line. Every creature within the area takes 24d6 electricity damage, Reflex DC 34 half. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Recharge Shield (Ex): Once per day as a free action, an orichalcum golem may recharge its shield to full hit points. If fighting without the supervision of its master, it will standardly use this ability as soon as its shield is reduced to 0 hit points.
Magic Immunity: An orichalcum golem is immune to all magical and supernatural effects.
An orichalcum golem’s body is sculpted from 65,000 pounds of orichalcum and heavy mineral supports, requiring 10 successful Craft (metalworking) and Craft (stonemasonry) checks respectively (DC 45). The golem costs 800,000 gold pieces to create, which includes 300,000 gp for the body. Assembling the body requires a successful Craft (armorsmithing) check (DC 45). The creator must be 30th level, have the Craft Epic Magic Arms and Armor feat, and be able to cast arcane spells. Completing the ritual drains 12,000 XP from the creator and requires geas/quest, singularity and wish.
