Raxivort became a demigod through the use of the Infinity Spindle, a magic item (stolen from the demon lord Graz'zt). After he fled, he created the Xvart wherever he went so that he could not be found.

Worship. Xvarts capture and sacrifice enemies to Raxivort when things are going poorly.

Xvart Warlocks. Raxivort will sometimes grant warlock powers to a xvart in exchange for some item of great worth.
