Reduce the mental focus cost to activate the chosen ability by 1, to a minimum of 1 and increase the DC of the ability if any by +2. This reduction is done before or after effect which increases mental focus cost, such as using the [[Quicken Focus Power (3.5e Feat)|Quicken Focus Power]] or channeling a focus power through a conductive weapon, whichever leads to the lesser expenditure of mental focus.
