Many dream of the ability to change one's aspect at will, but only magic users and some races may do it with ease. Some malevolent grafters discovered that the changelingschangeling's<sup>[[Publication:Races of Eberron|RoE]]</sup> capability to shift their outer form to disguise themselves derives entirely from their skin. As such, one can carefully flay the skin of a changeling and apply it to another creature. The skin must not be rotten for the processe to work. The grafting process is a [[Alternative Graft Rules (3.5e Variant Rule)|complex operation]] ([[Heal]] DC 20).
A creature that has the everchanging sking graft acquires the ''Minor Change Shape'' ability of a changeling, which allows them to make minor physical alterations in order to resemble another creature, in the same way a ''[[SRD:Disguise Self|disguise self]]'' spell works. The effect lasts until the creature desires it to change again, or if it dies which returns it to its true form.
