A Pata or sword gauntlet is a bladed weapon of Mughal period India, much like a short sword, except that the blade is integrated in a gauntlet.
Since this is connected a gauntlet you can not this weapon cannot be disarmed when using this weapon. In addition you can detach the blade and reattach it as if you were drawing any other weapon weapon and Quick Draw still applies to this. However if you You draw and equip the blade with gauntlet at the same time it is a full-round action though Quick Draw changes this to a standard actionweapon as normal.
This weapon applies for Weapon Finesse even though it is not a light weapon.
