Sizing[edit]

So an animated greatsword would be a small object? That seems a bit off to me. Could you explain why you're going that way? - Tarkisflux Talk 22:21, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

I was still in the middle of working on it when you made this comment. A dagger/shortsword is now tiny, a longsword/warhammer is now small, and a greatsword/greataxe medium.
Sorry, derp'd. I limited the two-handers to Small because the additional hit points for being constructs may tip the CR for mundane non-masterwork weapons. I would still consider them small in that, while they are certainly long, they are very thin in the other two dimensions, as are most other two-handed weapons such as halberds or greataxes.
I will also add a mention about the weapon's reach being equivalent to the reach of a creature attacking with the weapon. --Sulacu 00:02, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

Alignment[edit]

Should an animated weapon with alignment enhancement have the corresponding alignment (good for holy, etc.)? --Undead_Knave (talk) 15:40, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

An animated weapon is mindless, so I don't think so. --Sulacu (talk) 17:16, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
