Seems like a lot of book-keeping while not adding that much to the game apart from numerous move-equivalent actions being wasted to get the highest possible HP total.

"Seems like a lot of book-keeping"

It might be a lot of book-keeping; I'm not sure either. I'm always open to suggestions for reducing book-keeping. --Ideasmith (talk) 13:33, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

"while not adding that much to the game"

It reconciles dislike of random character generation with the feeling that hit dice ought to be rolled. Handy if the same person has both priorities. --Ideasmith (talk) 13:33, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

"apart from numerous move-equivalent actions being wasted to get the highest possible HP total."

Bearing up only uses a free action, while resets require five minutes of rest. I certainly don't intend for move-equivalent actions to be needed, but they sure don't seem to be.--Ideasmith (talk) 13:33, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
