| Soo: I have kind of mixed feelings towards sneak/jack-of-all-trades spellcasters.
They are cool but I feel like they often fall flat in their execution, being very repetitive in my opinion. That said, I really like this particular class, even though I wouldn't say it's oustandingly innovative, it does bring fun and well-executed mechanics, especially the watchful eye which I really like as it really encapsules the needs of a magical spy. Other than that, the spell conversion thing is really neat and sneak/skirmish and spellcasting progression are super nice. All in all, it seems a well done class and concept, despite not being all that new. Minor nitpick: I'm not a fan of the name, I think Ebon Eye could be enough, or any other eye color you wanted. Phantom Seer? I like this one better. Well I'm rambling now. |
