Yes! This is just the sort of thing I mean when I talk about risk vs. reward! (Except in this case, "risk" doesn't mean "this spell is dangerous to the caster" so much as it means "this spell is hard to use effectively".) This is much more powerful than fireball, also a 3rd-level spell, but the extra power is justified because the time delay forces you to go well out of your way to make sure that this spell actually works (and unlike delayed blast fireball, but like holy hold, the delay is mandatory). Very nicely done!
