Double Standards[edit]

Imagine my surprise when it was found who authored this. Thought you did not like non-personal healing in psionics. Regardless, there are a few questions and issues with this: 1) does this require an instrument to preform? 2) it does not specify the concentration check to maintain until the final augment (may want to mention it sooner), 3) "aiura" is spelt "aura", 4) being able to exclude opponents is very overpowered, 5) you failed to mention if it affects undead.--Franken Kesey 12:27, 16 April 2019 (MDT)

1) It does not require an instrument to perform. 2) It follow the normal concentration rule until the concentration augment is used. 3) Oh a typo, well I corrected it now. Like the typo that was in your own reply here. 4) I do not feel this is the case. 5) being fast healing it affect undead and construct normally.
It is actually based on the Infernal Healing wizard spell from PF. While it is non-personal healing, it did not render body adjustment useless, unlike you own power. I was fairly certain I made it Egoist only, it appears I was mistaken! So I rectified the situation. Maybe it was a slip in judgment? A copy-pasta mistake? I mean it has been two years since I made this, so maybe I held a different opinion at the time. I made some adjustment on the power either way.
The existence of this power will not change my opinion on the matter. Am I expected to remember all 2900+ articles I made? I am more than willing to discuss the power, but I would advise to not presume malice with things like titling a section 'Double Standard'. It make me quite a bit less friendly. --Leziad (talk) 12:56, 16 April 2019 (MDT)
1-3) Sounds good. 4) 10 foot range, plus can be augmented for 5 more feet is MUCH more powerful than touch. 5) It would be better to state that explicitly.
Body adjustment heals more damage over time because it uses d12s, while mine uses d8s. Sure without augments mine is better, but just after the first augment it is surpassed by 6 points (increasing even more with more augments). Body modification also heals an equal amount of non-lethal damage which mine does not. Thus body modification remains superior in HP healing. However, yours is an area effect which makes it much more powerful than either.
Finally, noted, and understand your own articles are not immune to comparison. But agree to civility.--Franken Kesey 13:51, 16 April 2019 (MDT)
