Ok, this was pretty awesome. I should rate this thing a favor...

...oh shoot, it looks like I already have. ...wait a minute.

If one is confused, one still has a chance to roll "attack caster". Does that mean one could free oneself by luckily being confused into attacking the mirror and destroying it? Does something else happen? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Quey (talkcontribs) at

Destroying the mirror doesn't free you from the horrifying knowledge it has already forced you to discover. I kind of wish there was a slightly less extreme confusion status effect for this, really. Confusion is a bit extreme for something a character does for weeks or centuries. --Foxwarrior 01:00, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
What if a creature spellbound by the mirror's effect is attacked by an invisible creature or a creature that otherwise transmits no light? And isn't it possible for a creature to lose sight of the mirror while fending off attacks it can see? --Sulacu (talk) 04:37, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
You can still see your own bloody stab wounds.
And yes, it's possible, and since it's just a fascination effect, it's normal that attacking them can save them from it. --Foxwarrior (talk) 05:26, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Nesting[edit]

What if I put one mirror on each side of a corridor and look into one of them? Can I see infinitely into the future? --Aarnott (talk) 14:37, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

I suppose you can, yes, and I think one of the mirrors can be ordinary. The superposition of states means that the sufficiently distant future will be extremely blurry if the observer has any way to influence anything at all, though. --Foxwarrior (talk) 18:28, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
