Proned[edit]
So I'm curious, since being prone only bestows a -4 penalty to your attack roll and doesn't prevent you from making melee attacks, does the attack against the opponent threatening an ally still go off if you fail the save? I ask because a creature still threatens normally even while prone, so there's nothing stopping you from continuing to whack people within reach with AoOs even after you've fallen down, you just take the -4 penalty. - Yes the attack would hit the ally on a failed save, that has now been fixed. With regards to falling prone there needed to be a penalty beyond the attack going through as normal and the options seemed to be falling prone or triggering an attack of opportunity. Triggering a new attack of opportunity on each attempt seems to be a bit too much and falling prone will also mean they trigger an AoO if they want to avoid the -4 attack and -4 AC vs melee, which stacked with penalties from Robliar's Gambit. - I think a good addition would be stating that you cannot gain the benefit of this feat while prone. --Ghostwheel (talk) 01:09, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
