These Prowess feat somewhat bother me. The benefit granted by them is generally too small and circumstancial to be worth a feat. In this case, for an example, spreading a rumor seems like something a character could do with the Bluff skill alone. Forcing (or skillfully suggesting) to spread a rumor without a penalty would be, at most, a skill trick, in my opinion. -HarrowedMind (talk) 23:36, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

The author has been permanently banned for vandalism and other offenses, and will not be back to debate the merits of this feat with you. So I'll do it instead, and basically agree with you. But since I'm still not sure I even want to support skill tricks in ToP, I'd rather make this worth a feat than move it into a skill trick (which would also probably entail someone adopting this feat). I'm open to suggestions for how to tweak it. - Tarkisflux Talk 00:19, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
Well, this feat does actually have a mechanical benefit: it lets you force creatures to spread rumors, contagiously. I don't think recursive commands are normally within the scope of Bluff, right?
Oh, that gives me an idea for how to expand this feat: make it let you convey other recursive commands, potentially with Intimidation or Affability as well. --Foxwarrior (talk) 03:44, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
Viral charm style? That might work. - Tarkisflux Talk 04:35, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
