Flavor of the Day[edit]

Fixed your tag, you left the (3.5e Elder Evil) bit off the title. Anyway, good to see content, though I must question your flavor. The idea is sound, basically a rehash of "the fall" of Biblical origins. But what makes him an elder evil? Its perfect fluff for a devil, but nothing really screams "incomprehensible alien superpower, uncaring (or too caring) and dangerous", it's merely "he's evil and strong". I thought that when they banished him it was going to be like "and so they threw him away and he fell into a place no one else would go, the Far Realm, and when he came back, he was FREAKY Ia Ia Cthulthu Fthagin!", but instead he just went to Hell which is an evil, but rather normal place. The other problem is his sign seems to indicate his domain is disease and ruin, fine and well, but his background has no fluff supporting it. If anything his background says he'd have something to do with influencing mortals and hating the gods. I could totally seem him as an elder evil of atheism, a "god" of disbelief whose purpose is to kill divine magic and supplement it with his own corrupted form of divine magic, affecting clerics and druids everywhere.

EDIT: On a closer read you did explain the disease bit, just not very well. I'm of the opinion that there are better ways to destroy the god's powerbase. Maybe he's like Nurgle and diseases you... until you turn to him, and then it no longer hurts, even when you're bloated balls of pus and filth.

In any case seems like work in progress, so here's hoping it turns out well. -- Eiji Hyrule 05:58, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

It got better, a diety falling as an angel, but instead of angel to demon, it was god to something unspeakable. Much better. -- Eiji Hyrule 10:34, September 14, 2010 (UTC)
I've been trying to improve the page as a whole. I'm still working but i think the idea is getting preatty fleshed out. -- Azrael65 IDK, September 15, 2010
