Ratings[edit]

RatedLike.png Aarnott likes this article and rated it 3 of 4.
Flavor: I like the descriptive text. No other comments -- it's good.

Mechanics: I want to like this, however, nauseated is a very strong status effect to be able to throw around with an attack action. You'll probably need to be pretty high level to afford throwing around tons of them. I just see this item being very easy to abuse: it can easily lock down encounters.

Then again, if we accept that this item is for VH-level games, it would help put rogue flask-throwers on par with wizards. So, I'm putting the more favorable rating under that assumption: like, rather than neutral.

Contain The Pain

If this stuff "...can eat through virtually any material...", what is it stored inside? --Ganteka Future 18:00, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Nausea[edit]

Nausea for 1 minute seems extreme, and too good for this price. Now, I know Rith isn't technically here anymore. Any objections if I drop it to 1 round? Cause 1 round, DC 20, at 210g? I can see that. It's pricy being expendable, but a good effect. I'd use it at 210g. -- Eiji-kun 05:31, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

210 gp is only for those that don't have the feat. Crafting this for 70gp would be friggin sweet. Of course, requiring evil makes sense. But doesn't that mean that it is an evil tool? If the feat to craft it requires you to be evil, shouldn't using it come with some sort of evil taint? -- BackHandOfFate 22:45, 2 September 2012 (PST)
Changed via Mibbit discussions. Also, I note that it requires a feat. Odd that. -- Eiji-kun 05:48, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
