Is it just me, or does this seem to make more sense to be a trait than a feat? losing Morale bonuses seems to be a bad thing in my book. The Dire Reverend 05:28, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

I like this version better, but it is just odd to me mechanically that you lose the ability to be affected positively (The Rage spell). It makes sense, but I think many people will look over this feat because it has that negative drawback. The Dire Reverend 08:56, 30 July 2011 (UTC)

Good call changing morale bonuses to insight: insight bonuses are practically unused for the most part like morale, so I see no problems just overlapping them. Although the feat now provides some decent benefits without much of a trade-off (ie. the mechanics are fine), I still find the fact that this is a feat in the first place to be a bit strange. I suppose being 1st level this is a character heritage thing, which sometimes appears as feats, but usually those feats are some sort of mystical heritage, not having a psychological disorder. Which is why I think a trait would fit better. You'd also be able to include penalties to diplomacy (which seems appropriate) and nix the morale bonuses altogether without ruining the mechanics.

However, if you like it as a feat, it works fine that way now.
