For this feat and the other similar feats, I think a reroll is enough; as it is, you effectively give characters +7 against a save that they need to roll an 11 against (reroll is effectively +5, and another +2 from the feat). --Ghostwheel (talk) 16:48, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

Getting passive defenses is usually not a super good idea unless it very effective in a world where you need all the offensive power you can get (Power Attack vs Combat Expertise). Unlike combat expertise, you don't get too choose when you use the reroll or not (since you need to be targeted) whcih is why I added the extra side bonus at Base Save +5. I can drop the +2 bonus though. --Leziad (talk) 17:12, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
I think that's a good idea. After all, you aren't limited to the number of times you can reroll, and on top of that, you don't have to take the 2nd roll if you don't have to. --Ghostwheel (talk) 17:43, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Dropped the +2. As for not accepting the second result, it usually doesn't matter cause saving throw is a 'yes' or 'no' thing and it only sometime gradual. So if you take the reroll... you probably screwed up the first save and so getting a worse result usually won't matter. Gradual penalties are more of a thing in checks (such as being bullrushed). --Leziad (talk) 17:49, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
