Attacks and cartridges[edit]
Wait, an attack action uses up 8 *cartridges*? No one can reload that fast. And, that 16*8 bullets per attack action, of which you get 2-4 per round or more with TWF.173.51.231.199 17:41, April 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Your swapping clips - not rounds, thus should be able to drop a clip then put in another in 3 seconds. You still need to reload, but you could, if you had 4 attacks and both noted feats; fire 2 uzi's - reload then fire again - doing 8d8 dmg in one round. Or you could use a full attack action to do 8d8 in two rounds. So the only difference is when the attacks hit. --Franken Kesey 21:29, April 6, 2010 (UTC)
Balance[edit]
3d8 damage for a weapon costing 250 gp...? Yeah, that's balanced *eyeroll* --Ghostwheel 20:19, April 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Had been using the Steambolt Minigun (3.5e Equipment) (thanks Sulacu) as a reference point to dmg. The minigun does 10d8 dmg, is a two-handed weapon, weighs 22lbs unloaded, and costs 450gp. How I calibrated dmg is what follows: two-handed to 1-handed - 5d8, 450 to 250 - 3d8. Have moved dmg down by a die. Its less than 1/4 of a mini-gun in dmg, and weight and half in price - whats the problem with that? --Franken Kesey 21:29, April 6, 2010 (UTC)
Contradictory[edit]
It says its damage is 2d8, and then firing it as an attack action is 1d8. Which is it? Surgo 22:43, April 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Dmg was for standard action - will switch to attack action. Thanks --Franken Kesey 23:18, April 6, 2010 (UTC)
