Optimization[edit]

The most optimized use of this is on a monk's unarmed strike. With high base damage die and likely chance of a flurry of misses, this gives a nice consolation prize. -- Eiji-kun 06:17, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Nice consolation prize... Might be too nice dealing 24d8 damage regardless of whether you hit or not. I'd honestly put some sort of cap on it, especially if you're keeping it as a +1 bonus. Perhaps make it 1d6 damage, increasing by 1d6 at +3 and +5 enhancement or some-such? Let's take a high-level, optimized example in that case--a swordsage using Time Stands Still + Greater TWF + Raging Mongoose. This gives 20 attacks, dealing 60d6 assuming they're +5 weapons if you miss on ALL attacks, which is a very good consolation prize still without the exploitability of the original enhancement. --Ghostwheel 06:28, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
Also, would you at least need to touch the opponents' Touch Armor Class? Applying Spell Resistance as a limitation might be a pain in the ass for a solution, though. -HarrowedMind 20:30, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
