Standard Skills[edit]

This is used when you want to show a skill followed by what its base ability score.

An example usage is {{3.5e Skill|Climb}} which appears as Climb (Str).

If your skill can be divided into subparts (Craft, Knowledge, Perform, and Profession respectively), you may specify which apply using the optional subskill. For example, {{3.5e Skill|Knowledge|history}} appears as Knowledge (history) (Int).

If you do not need any non-WotC skills, we recommend that you instead use the Template:3.5e Skills, as it reduces the amount you need to type and thus possible errors.

Using Non-WotC Skills[edit]

This template supports homebrew or other non-WotC skills, using the following format:

{{3.5e Skill
|<--Skill name.-->
|<--Skill subparts. If skill has no subparts, leave this blank - DO NOT DELETE THE "|" CHARACTER - -->
|<--Skill's related Attribute-->
|<--Skill's wiki link-->
}}

For example, {{3.5e Skill|Perception||Wis}} becomes Perception (Wis), and {{3.5e Skill|Pilot||Int|Pilot (3.5e Skill)}} becomes Pilot (Int).

You can also use the 4th parameter to override the default linking of a WotC published skill, i.e: {{3.5e Skill|Appraise||Int|Appraise (3.5e Skill)}} becomes Appraise (Int)
