Mul grew up in the wild, being led by the nose through the icy forests by the leaders of his tribe. He grew up to be a strong warrior, and was known to be a good huntsman, even eventually being the head huntsman. This, ironically, saved his life, as he was out hunting one day, with the other huntsmen of the tribe, when the tribe was attacked, and decimated, with slaves being taken left, right, and center. When he returned to his home, he found the place burning, without a single living soul in sight.
Mul was distraught, but did not show it, and while the other hunters that he led spoke about trying to rebuild, or going to another tribe, he left them, going out, following the trail left by the forces that had attacked his home. This has led him to the life he lives now, that of the lone wolf.
