The following are Arcane Powers for the Wordomancer base class.

You imbue your spell with the power of slippery ice.

Hit: The target is knocked prone.
Effect: The spaces occupied by each target, and any spaces in the affected area, become a zone of difficult terrain for 1 round.


Long

You imbue your spell with extra reach.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Boost Word
Minor -
Special: Double the range of the affected power. If it's a melee power, double its reach. Since this is affecting the range, not the area, this has no effect on Blasts or Close Bursts.


Pyr

You imbue your spell with the power of burning.

Hit: The target takes ongoing 5 Fire damage (save ends).


Level 1 Daily Words[edit]

Aispaik
Wordomancer Attack 1
You imbue the energies of your spell into spontaneously created spikes of ice.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Enabler, Boost Word, Cold

Attack: Base Word vs. Armor Class
Hit: The target takes 2 points of cold damage. On a critical hit, the power also deals 1d12 points of physical damage.
Special: Applying this Boost Word to a Base Word Power also makes that power target AC instead of the defense it normally targets, as noted above.


Sayif
Wordomancer Attack 1
You give yourself the ability to imbue your spells with certainty and avoid killing your allies or healing your enemies.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Enabler, Boost Word
Minor -
Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: You may choose to have the power do nothing to the target.
Miss: If the power dealt damage, you may have it deal half that damage on a miss.


Stup
Wordomancer Attack 1
You imbue your spell with a painful hallucination which accentuates any damage your victims take.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Psychic
Minor -
Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: For a number of rounds equal to your Intelligence modifier, whenever the target is hit by one of your allies' attacks, that target takes 5 points of Psychic damage.
Miss: For 1 round, whenever the target is hit by one of your allies' attacks, that target takes 5 points of Psychic damage.


Yuri
Wordomancer Attack 1
You give yourself the power to control the minds of lesser beings.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Enabler, Charm

Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: The target is Dominated until the end of its next turn.

Effect: The target may spend a healing surge. If they do, they recover an additional amount of health equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Hit: 1d6 + Charisma modifier lightning damage and the target is stunned for 1 round.
Miss: 1d6 lightning damage.

Hit: Target is pushed a number of squares equal to your Intelligence modifier.

You give yourself the ability to shoot three bolts of energy from a body part or implement at a time.

Imbue your magic with elemental shields

Effect: Choose one of your Base Damage damage types when you cast this power. Creatures targeted by this power gain resistance 10 + your Intelligence modifier against that damage type for a number of rounds equal to your Intelligence modifier.

You upgrade your targets' feet with tiny feet that help them move faster.

You expel your magical energies in a beam of raw power.

Target: A creature within 30 squares, and all creatures in the line between you and that creature

You imbue your spell with debilitating toxins.

Hit: The target takes gets a -2 penalty to saving throws and a -1 penalty to defenses (save ends).


Tract

Drag the squishies into the gaping maws of your Barbarian buddies.

Hit: Target is pulled a number of squares equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Orb

You blast a target, and the energies splash onto nearby creatures with a delayed effect

Standard Ranged 15
Primary Target: One creature
Attack: Charisma vs. Armor Class
Hit: Nothing unless modified
Secondary Target: Creatures within 3 squares of the primary target
Secondary Attack: Charisma vs. Reflex
Hit: Same as if it hit the primary target, but with a 1 round delay.
Miss: Same as if it missed the primary target, but with a 1 round delay.

Your victims run around screaming

Hit: The target takes ongoing 5 Fire damage, and must spend all its standard and move actions to Run around the full possible distance, (save ends both).
Miss: The target takes 5 points of Fire damage.


Swop
Wordomancer Attack 13
Swap the locations of two targets.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Teleportation
Minor -
Effect: Choose two hit creatures, or one hit creature and yourself. Those creatures swap places if they are 2 + your Intelligence modifier squares away from each other or fewer.


Xin
Wordomancer Attack 13
You imbue your spell with poisons that make it very hard to see straight.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Poison
Minor -
Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: The target gets a -2 penalty to attack rolls and perception checks (save ends).


Level 15 Daily Words[edit]

Saun

You deafen people with your overly loud magic.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Thunder, Enabler

Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: 1d8 + Charisma modifier thunder damage.
Miss: 1d8 thunder damage.
Effect: Whether you miss or not, all targets and all creatures within 2 squares of any targets are deafened for 1 round.


Strom
Wordomancer Attack 15
You make your targets arc lightning onto other people.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Lightning
Minor -
Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: The target takes 3d6 + Charisma modifier points of lightning damage, and becomes Electrically Charged (save ends). At the beginning of an Electrically Charged creature's turn, choose a non-Electrically Charged creature within 3 squares of that creature. The chosen creature takes 5 points of lightning damage.
Miss: The target takes 2d6 points of lightning damage.

Deth
Wordomancer Utility 16
You weaken the barrier to the afterlife so that your victims' deaths can let forth beings of destruction.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Necrotic, Summoning
Move -
Effect: If a target is killed by the Base Word power Deth is boosting, create a Death's Image minion at that target's location. It may act on your next turn and any later turn. Death's Images have 0 in each defense, a movement speed of 4, and a Charisma Vs. Armor Class basic attack that deals your Base Damage value in Necrotic damage, using your Charisma-based attack bonus (but not any Implement or Weapon bonuses you have).


Kyur
Wordomancer Utility 16
You imbue your spell with the power of recovering.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Healing
Move -
Effect: The target may attempt to save against each (save ends) effect on it. The target gets a +2 power bonus to these saves.

Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage.


Thro
Wordomancer Attack 17
Rearrange the battlefield to your liking.

Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: Target is slid a number of squares equal to your Intelligence modifier in any direction.
Miss: Target is slid 1 square in any direction.


Vyl
Wordomancer Attack 17
You magically infuse bits of your internal organs into the spell.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Necrotic
Minor -
Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: The target takes 5d6 + Charisma modifier points of Necrotic damage.
Miss: The target takes 3d6 points of Necrotic damage
Cost: Casting Vyl costs you 15 health and uses up two of your healing surges.


Level 19 Daily Words[edit]

Anch

Anchor the target to yourself.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Boost Word, Enabler
Minor -
Attack: Base Word vs. Base Word
Hit: The target is Anchored to you (save ends). While Anchored, the target cannot move to (or be pushed, pulled, or slid to) any square that is further away from you than 15 - your Intelligence modifier.
Miss: The target is Anchored to you for 1 round.


Kablooie

That popping sound as enemies explode is just so fun, you can't help yourself.

You arc blasts around corners, and stab people from a distance.

Effect: You may have the Base Word power Lob is boosting, count as originating from any space within 2 squares of you instead of from your location. Multiple instances of Lob increase this distance by 2 squares each.

Minor -
Effect: The target gets a power bonus to Stealth checks equal to your Intelligence modifier, and can make a Stealth check at a -10 penalty to avoid being detected while attacking. This lasts for 2 rounds.

Hit: Target is immobilized (save ends).
Miss: Target gets a -2 penalty to movement speed on its next turn.


Level 25 Daily Words[edit]

Korkdur
Wordomancer Attack 25
You imbue the terrain with a repeating effect.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Implement, Base Word, Zone
Standard Area Burst 5 within 10 squares
Target: Each creature in the zone each round.
Attack: Charisma vs. Armor Class
Hit: Nothing unless modified. Note that the first attack doesn't happen until the beginning of your next turn.
Effect: The area becomes a zone for a number of rounds equal to your Intelligence modifier. At the beginning of each of your turns, make an attack against each creature in the zone, applying Korkdur's modified Hit/Miss effects as appropriate.

You must speak this word with a particularly stony expression, or it won't work.
