After the spell is cast the spell the caster can continue on other actions as long as concentration is maintained (starting DC:5).

Each Hour after starting this spell -

*You create a gem or jewel worth 1,000gp. 

*Increase the value of a gem or jewel by 1,000gp.

The gem or jewel created will only last for 24 hours if not in possession of the caster, unless it has been used as a spell component such as [[SRD:Trap the Soul| Trap the Soul]].

An appraise, Spellcraft or sense motive check (DC: gp value in thousands [24000gp = 24dc]) reveals the gem has been altered, (DC x2) will reveal that the gem will dissapear after 24 hours. 

*Unless the gem has been used for a purpose (crushing for spell ingredients, trapping a soul, ect.)
