This large and bulky +1 [[SRD:Dragonhide|Dragonhide]] [[Hide Cloak (3.5e Equipment)|Hide Cloak]] is made from the scales of multiple dragons, however as time passed the color of each faded until the cloak appears to be of a faded brown color. The cloak is much more protective than leather granting a base +3 Armor Bonus (+4 with it base enhancement) and the benefits of the [[SRD:Endure Elements|''endure element'']] spell while worn. Additionally the scales of the cloak can deflect rays, granting the wearer it Armor Bonus on touch AC against rays and other ranged touch attack. This does not apply on ranged incorporeal touch attack.  

While being worn by a creature with the [Dragonblood] subtype, this cloak react with their blood can be turned into a pairs of wings as a standard action. This grant the wearer a fly speed equal to twice her base land speed with clumsy maneuverability. In this state the cloak provide no protection and may be turned back into cloak form as a free action.

Aged Drakescales Mantle is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
