|benefit=Artemis has blessed both you and your arrows as the Goddess of Archery and the Hunt. You ignore all concealment and cover (except total cover) granted by natural terrain with your ranged attack. Secondly any bow you wield is 'blessed' by Artemis allowing you to make one additional attack at a -5 penalty whenever you make a standard or full-attack, blessed composite bows also automatically adjust their strength score to match yours.

Additionally if you possess a [[SRD:Riding Dog|Riding Dog]] you may elect to also grant it the blessing of Artemis, granting it all bonus normally granted to an [[SRD:Druid|druid]]'s animal companion using your character level as druid level. If the dog is killed or lost you may select another dog to be blessed with a 24 hours ritual. If you already possess an animal companion you may combine both ability, granting your riding dog two bonus hit dice, a +2 bonus to Strength and Dexterity and a bonus feat (in addition to the normal animal companion benefits based on character level).

If you commit an heinous act against Artemis you must make a DC 20 [[Will]] save or be turned into a deer as per [[SRD:Baleful Polymorph|''baleful polymorph'']]. If you fail the save you are forced in deer form for a week and will be hunted by other hunters dedicated to Artemis, if you survive the entire week you are proven worthy and brought back to your normal form and forgiven. If you succeed the save you lose the benefits of this feat and the [[Favored of an Olympian (3.5e Feat)|Favored of Artemis]] feat for 24 hours.

|special=A male character may take this feat, however in doing so he must vow to remain eternally chaste. Of course violating this vow is an heinous crime.   At the GM's discretion, if you commit an extremely heinous crime against Artemis you lose both this feat and the [[Favored of an Olympian (3.5e Feat)|Favored of Artemis]] feat permanently and you are not turned back into your normal form if you fail the save, you will be however warned that you are about to commit an extremely heinous act in addition to the normal warning granted by the [[Favored of an Olympian (3.5e Feat)|Favored of Artemis]] feat.
