Unlike most artifacts, the Balefire Pocket Watch can be destroyed, and has 2 HP and hardness of 5. When the Balefire Pocket Watch is destroyed, the universe (any place accessible without the use of time travel or alternate universe travel) is reset to the way it was exactly 1 day ago. However, all creatures retain their memories of that day, likely using that knowledge to thoroughly alter the course of events. Creatures created during the day do not gain any of their knowledge when (and if) they are re-created.
